I thought I was coping swimmingly with the adjustment in my schedule, but then the weekend arrived and I realised how grateful I was for a lie-in and the chance to spend an entire morning in my pyjamas. My tiredness is not helped by the fact that we had lunch at a vineyard today, and I'm feeling the effects of two very large glasses of Riesling. The waitress was new, and was apparently under the impression that a glass of wine was equivalent to a glass full to the brim and practically overflowing. I didn't correct her. And now I might have a nap.
I hope you have all had a lovely weekend! I wish I had more interesting things to say, but this weekend my thought process is, essentially, "wake up ... eat ... work ... eat ... nap ... work ... eat ... sleep" and repeat. With the occasional, "Brr," when it gets too chilly.

oh wow, that purse is gorgeous! I've never seen one in that style so big? Am I crazy? I have one but it's just an itty bitty one that I can rarely ever use. great find!
I love this outfit! I think the hat is just the best. And that bag! Very nice! =]
haha, when I first started working in food and beverage I didn't know anything about wine either (still don't know much!). I never had to pour it--thank goodness. But I do remember opening bottles for the first time in front of customers--how embarrassing!
In my defense, they (management) never trained me, and all the wine I drank before that was served to me or came in a box or a bottle with a screw-top! Classy.
Anyhow, I really enjoy your blog, I hope you don't mind me linking to it from mine? If so, please let me know and I'll take the link down! If you'd like to link to me, I'd be thrilled. =]

I love this bag! I have a schoolbag which was made in that style, unfortunately it was ripped by the weight of all the books I have to carry... (I bet my English teacher would faint if he read that sentence?)the belt is beautiful, it reminds me of minnie mouse!
Beautiful outfit and i love your bag xx
hahaha! I wouldn't have corrected her either! But aren't weekends lovely?
This dress + bag are beautiful.
what a lovely purse!
Have you visited Madame Butterfly's in Stanmore Road? Melanie has a variety of vintage from 1920's to 1980's. I bought a lovely blue/grey sheath dress there for which I receive lots of compliments.
just when I think I can't see a more gorgeous outfit, you outdo yourself! lovely!
Thanks so much, everyone, and I'm sorry it has taken me so long to respond! It has been a crazy month.
Eef - of course, that's lovely of you! I'll link to you too when I next update my links.
My Best Friend's Little Sister - I'm always excited to discover another Zimbo too! Yay!
Kay - I love Madame Butterfly's. :) My favourite will always be Tete a Tete, though.
