So we didn't actually plan to post a Christmas message on the blog, but this happened and I thought you might like to see words coming out of my mouth (just as if I were a real person!)

Mink hid behind the water heater all day. He is a Grinch.
Man slays turkey!
The first Christmas dinner I have cooked all by myself, including a turkey!

Post-lunch.

I love your Christmas video complete with Christmas crown! Your dinner looks amazing- I can't believe that is your first time doing the whole thing. I hope y'all had a fabulous day!!
How sweet to see you in a video! I know this is going to sound silly because I know where you grew up, but I was surprised not to hear a New Zealand accent! Merry Christmas, belatedly! xo
Awww you guys are too cute! Did our Christmas card to you arrive on time?
Looks like you had a great day! I love your little NZ blackboard on the wall! :D
Aww poor Mink. He looks cold. And he is much cuter than the Grinch. :)
Merry Xmas! And what an interesting accent, both British and slightly kiwi!
That was adorable! You have a wonderful accent and such a pretty voice. Real-person Andrea indeed!
Heeee! Love the video. So cute. =D You have a lovely voice.

Such a sweet Christmas video! It looks like you had a wonderful first Christmas in Texas - I certainly hope you did!
Oh my goodness you two are such a cute couple! What a lovely little video! :-)
And wow congrats on having cooked this meal! I think I'd surrender if I had to cook a turkey lol.

Scribbles - it did, thank you so much!
And I'm glad to know that it wasn't just Mink who was rendered Grinch-y by Christmas day.
Awww, what a cute video! My family also opened Christmas crackers with crowns and riddles/jokes. I got a hair clip as my toy.
Awwww kitty is a Grinch, hehehe!
Hi there! This may sound completely vacuous, but I would love for you to do a post about how you style your hair, it always looks amazing!
You should post more videos. Your accent is hot!! Hahaha. My cat went a bit berserk during our Christmas dinner because he wanted attention =P
How lovely!
Happy New Year.x
Wallspank - I'm so sorry for the late reply! You know, there isn't really much to tell (and thank you for the compliment) - most of it is in the cut. I just curl the front bits with tongs so that they wave more evenly, and straighten the fringe.
