It's so lovely to sit in the sunny dining room (with Mink) and type away. Also, my chair is right next to the fridge, which can be handy but can also be fatal, depending on whether we purchased anything particularly yummy with our groceries.
I'm still embroiled in the first draft, which means that all my words are used up and blogging is tricky. Sometimes I feel like I have a quota of words that I can use each day and, if I'm working furiously, I run out. So LOML gets monosyllables when he gets home, my brain feels like a wrung-out sponge, and I struggle to remember words like 'marmalade.'
Perhaps Mink should start a blog.

Oh, looks so lovely! I love the warmth of the sun in the room.
I can see Mink's blog now, if he's anything like my kitty. "I had a good day today, woke up, breakfast, nap, chased after an invisible thing, napped, fought with a string, napped, had a snack, and a post-snack nap."
I love it! What a wonderful place to write. :) Yes, Mink should start a blog: A Writer of Impossible Colour (tee hee)
I would definitely read Mink's blog if he started one. And I now the pull of the fridge all too well, it's fatal. Are you working on a new book now then? xxx
love how bright and warm it looks
Emma - thank you! I love living somewhere with so much gorgeous sunshine.
Celynne - ha! Yes. Mink's would also include 'plotted my escape.'
Sarah - I will suggest it!
Natasha - I am! My second one - The White Shadow - is coming out next February, and this is the third.
Art Deco Dame - thank you!
