Rodeo!

Going to our first Texan rodeo has to be a rite of passage, don't you think? And Fourth of July weekend was the perfect time to go. We spent our weekend in Belton, and the community spirit and country flavour of the town was a great introduction for us to the traditions of the holiday. Lots of firsts, too - my first ride in a Ferris Wheel, my first snow-cone and my first look at a man in a Stetson being thrown from a supernaturally enormous bucking bull.
