Brenham and Blue Bell

On Thursday, LOML flew us all to Brenham to visit the '50s-styled airport diner and the Blue Bell Ice Cream factory (yum). The flight was wonderful, both ways, but the ice cream was a definite highlight. No Oompa-Loompas, but a certain Charlie-and-the-Chocolate-Factory feel to the whole thing. Fostered some brand loyalty there, Blue Bell - good job. The spiced pumpkin flavour was my favourite ... it's only available during the holidays, though, so make the most of it while it's here.
