Christmas!

Mink hates Christmas. We haven't figured out why, but it's the one day of the year (apart from when he senses he's going to the V-E-T) that he spends completely hidden, squished in behind the water heater. Perhaps he hates the sound of crinkling wrapping paper? Or the smell of chestnuts roasting on an open fire - not that we do that in our apartment? I think it's the air of general jollity and merriment that offends him. Mink is a complex animal, emotionally, with a dark and tortured soul. Bah, humbug.

Anyway, despite the absence of Mink, we had a wonderful Christmas day - and Mo made up for his lack of festive spirit.
