Austin Fashion Week Designer Showcases

I'm so happy to announce that two of my fashion designer friends have been awarded design showcases at the Driskill for Austin Fashion Week! This is a very prestigious achievement, and a testament to all their hard work and the quality of their designs. Find out more about the event here.

The first is the lovely Theresa Kopecky of Tess Designs, whom I've written about often here on the blog. I am so impressed by everything she has achieved.

The other is my lovely friend Anslee Connell of Savannah Red. Her plus-size clothing line is vintage-inspired, exuberant, unapologetically sexy and cartoon-whimsical, and I just love it.

And here's Anslee (last two images)! She's one of the prettiest people I've ever met. When I first met her I was completely tongue-tied.
